"I  have been working as a relief teacher via Education Personnel since May 2009. As I come from Germany, I needed a company  to sponsor me so I could be granted a work permit for New Zealand. Education Personnel was so helpful and understanding and offered to act as my sponsor. 
In July 2008 I  heard about Education Personnel  when I  read an advertisement in the papers that they were offering a refresher course for overseas teachers and for teachers who had  been out of the classroom for a while.  This advert really appealed to me and I participated in the 3 day course.  I was impressed with the amount of information Education Personnel gave me and further more they offered to help me gain my teacher registration.   At that stage I was working as a teacher aide, but as soon as I decided to apply for a work permit and work visa I approached Education Personnel because of my first impression of them and their good reputation.

Bill and his team were amazing.  They offered help with the application for my registration, they happily filled in all the forms I needed for my visa and I was easily able to get in touch with Bill. He was very patient and understanding the whole way through.  As soon as I finally gained my registration and work permit I got work through Education Personnel straight away - on the very next day!  I am obliged to work work via Education Personnel as it is a condition of my visa.  I am not allowed to approach other Wellington schools. Education Personnel knows this and they offer me work everyday.  I was able to choose how many days I would like to work, in what suburbs and at what year level.  I am so grateful for their help and I like the flexibility and range of work I get.  I know Education Personnel appreciates the work I do as well.

I am very grateful  for Bill's help and I have really enjoyed working with Education Personnel.  The team is very easy to talk to, they alwasy give as much information about the school, class, school environment  as possible.  When there are a number of schools looking for teachers they offer me a choice which is really nice.

I can highly recommend signing up with Education Personnel. if you want to work as a daily reliever, especially if you are not a kiwi... they were just awesome!
