Why Education Personnel? "A number of years ago Education Personnel came to Whiteria Polytechnic just before my graduation. So I guess it's who you see you remember! Therefore when I wanted to do a stint of relieving either to find a position or to extend my experience I chose Education Personnel. The service they provided was very good and efficient. I know of one centre who changed to having Education Personnel look after their relief for this very reason. Education Personnel are a preferred Government provider and they have booking staff who are 'education people' and conversant with the Early Childhood systems. Certainly when hiccups arose(not very often) a voice at the end of the phone had an understanding of the problems being encountered. Roles and Types of Work Provided: Education Personnel found me relieving very quickly and continually - there were not many empty days out of the 7-8 months relieving that I did for them. Through Education Personnel I have worked in a wide variety of centres. It was everything I wanted. Centres function in different ways and there were some efficient and some inefficient centres. There were centres which mainly speak in Te Reo, babies, mixed age groups, pre-schools as opposed to childcare....daily relief work, short term and long term work. Yes I would recommend Education Personnel to others. I enjoyed the professional and friendly fashion that the team members had with myself as their client.
