I initially heard about Education Personnel through Whitireia
Polytechnic who informed trainees that Education Personnel were running
a seminar on CV writing and interview skills. I attended the
seminar, which was presented very well. It was informative and
all of our questions were answered. I registered with Education
Personnel for a variety of reasons. I have worked for an
agency in the past and knew it was good way to get work. I had
also looked on the Education Personnel website and saw a job listed in
Lower Hutt, which ideally was where I wanted to work. My initial
impressions of Education Personnel when contacting them were very
good. They were very friendly, approachable and down to earth.
Using the Education Personnel relief service is a really good way
to get in the teaching field as they offer work all throughout
Wellington. Not long after the seminar Annalise put me forward
for a permanent position in a kindergarten and I won it. Even
after the interview Annalise was in contact with me to check out how
the interview went and she also did all the negotiating with the centre
which was really good. The overall service was great. I would
definitely use Education Personnel again and I have recommended their
service to other teachers.
